Brian Sanchez is a Cuban contemporary visual artist. He is known for his unique style and elongated, manneristic portrayal of figures. His works, painted in the style of Cuban hyperrealism, have been described as "compulsive, ethereal and passionate," whether in treating the subject of the "Madonna and Child," or the simple "Boy with Dog." In all of his compositions, Sanchez places his seemingly dreaming figures as if they were in outer space, surrounded by stars and planets; unconscious of the beauty around them. His work is currently in several private collections and galleries, such as Jack Meier Gallery in Houston, Texas. He currently lives and works in Miami, FL.
